The Toronto Bridge is a full-arch prosthesis: it replaces all the teeth in an arch with a single bridge screwed onto the implants, which only the dentist can remove. Its characteristic is the flange, a resin or reinforced composite base that also reproduces the gum, compensating for bone and gingival resorption without additional reconstructive interventions. In our clinic in Tirana we design it with intraoral scanning and create it in the internal CAD/CAM laboratory, screwing it onto implants All on 4 o All on 6.

How a Toronto Bridge is made
The prosthesis has a core of metal or high-resistance material milled by our laboratory, covered in resin or composite: the teeth and the gingival flange are part of the same product, screwed onto the implants through access channels that we close with aesthetic composite.
- Structure milled to measure by the internal CAD/CAM laboratory
- Teeth in high-strength resin or composite, customized aesthetics
- Gingival flange that restores the gum and lip volumes lost due to edentulism
- Fixed with screws on the implants: stable when chewed, removable only in the office for maintenance
Toronto Bridge or ceramic prosthesis: the real differences
It's the question we get asked most often. The resin/composite Toronto is lighter, costs less and - a decisive aspect - is repairable: if a tooth chips, our laboratory fixes it in a few hours without redoing the prosthesis. The all-ceramic coated prosthesis offers superior aesthetics and wear resistance, but weighs more, costs more and a ceramic fracture requires more complex workmanship.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer: we evaluate with you your age, chewing strength, aesthetic needs and budget, and we write the motivated choice in the plan signed by Dr. Kapaj. You can learn more in the guide on cost of the Toronto Bridge.
Who is it suitable for?
The Toronto Bridge is indicated for those who have lost all the teeth in one arch and have bone and gum resorption: the flange restores support to the lips and facial profile. It is also the usual solution for those replacing one removable denture with a fixed prosthesis on implants.
Production times
After the osseointegration of the implants (3-6 months), digital impression, aesthetic tests and delivery are required: with the internal laboratory we complete the prosthetic phase in a few days. The written plan immediately indicates how many trips and how many days in Tirana your case requires.
