All on 4 is a rehabilitation technique that allows you to replace all the teeth in an arch with a fixed prosthesis screwed onto just four implants, two straight at the front and two inclined at the back to make the most of the available bone. In Tirana we plan it on 3D Cone Beam CT and the plan is signed by Dr. Ledjo Kapaj, who has been dealing with implantology and immediate loading for over 10 years. It is one of the solutions that we most often offer to Italian patients with compromised teeth or total edentulism.

How much it costs: the Italy–Sanitadental comparison

How the All on 4 technique works
The two posterior implants are tilted to anchor where the bone is more solid, avoiding extensive bone grafts in most cases. We screw a fixed temporary prosthesis onto the four implants, which gives way to the definitive prosthesis after osseointegration.
- First visit with 3D Cone Beam CT and intraoral scan, both included
- Surgical-prosthetic plan signed by Dr. Kapaj and written estimate within 24 hours
- Insertion of the 4 implants in a single session, under local anesthesia
- Temporary fixed prosthesis within 24-72 hours, in cases suitable for immediate loading
- Final prosthesis after 3-6 months of osseointegration
Who is it suitable for?
The All on 4 is designed for those who have lost all the teeth in one arch, for those who wear unstable removable dentures and for those who have irrecoverable residual teeth that should be replaced in a single operation. The 3D CT scan tells us if the bone is sufficient: when the bone quantity requires it, we evaluate alternatives such asAll on 6, which distributes the load across six systems.
Materials of the full-arch prosthesis
The definitive structure can be made with a resin or reinforced composite flange (the so-called Toronto Bridge) or with aesthetic ceramic coating. During your visit, we will explain the differences in weight, aesthetics, repairability and cost, because the choice changes future maintenance. The implants are Straumann®, Nobel Biocare® or BioHorizons®, with a certificate of authenticity delivered upon completion.
Times, travel and follow-up
Generally two trips to Tirana are needed: the first for surgery and fixed provisional, the second for the definitive prosthesis made in our internal CAD/CAM laboratory. We organize the flight, 4-star hotel and private transfer, and the Italian patient coordinator follows you before, during and after. The follow-up continues remotely once he returns to Italy.
