The way a clinic asks for money tells you a lot about how it works. Anyone who demands the full amount before even seeing you is protecting themselves from you, not the other way around. Our rules are simple and written in the quote: never everything before, never without an invoice, never an item you didn't approve. Here's how it works in detail.
When you pay: deposit + balance, never everything before
Our standard scheme:
- Deposit upon confirmation of dates: a limited quota that blocks the operating room, materials and travel package;
- Balance upon completion of the work: the main part is paid upon delivery of the work of that trip (temporary on the first trip, definitive prosthetics on the second), after the final check;
- No supplement compared to the signed estimate, valid for 30 days: if an item is not there, it does not exist.
For jobs in a single trip (veneers, crowns) the balance occurs at the final delivery, always after you have seen and approved the result.
Accepted methods
- Bank transfer: the method we recommend for the deposit - traceable, free or almost free, and leaves you the receipt in home banking;
- Credit and debit card in the clinic, with POS receipt;
- Cash accepted within the limits of the law foreseen for cash payments: beyond the threshold, the card or bank transfer is used. It's not our rigidity: it's the law, and it protects you.
The invoice: always, and you need it
Every payment is covered by invoice with performance details. It's not just correctness: the invoice, together with the report and the treatment plan, is the documentation you need in Italy for any insurance reimbursements and to evaluate the tax deduction with your accountant. A clinic that offers to pay "under the table" to save money is asking you to give up all protection: walk away.
The protections you have with us
- Estimate signed and blocked for 30 days before any payment;
- Limited down payment, balance only when work is delivered;
- Invoice for each amount, in Italian;
- Written guarantee delivered with the final documentation: 10 years implants, 5 years prosthetics and veneers;
- Identifiable clinic: VAT number verifiable on qkb.gov.al, same location since 2014.
